BLESS Founder President and CEO Details

Sardar DrBismillah Khan Kakar is Founder President and CEO of the Balochistan Licentiate Educational and Social Society (BLESS), where he oversees the agency’s humanitarian relief operations in the affected areas of Balochistan and its refugee resettlement and assistance programs in Balochistan, Pakistan.

Under DrBismillah Khan Kakar leadership , the BLESS has expanded its ability to rapidly respond to humanitarian crises and meet the needs of an unprecedented number of people uprooted by conflict, war and disaster. The organization is implementing an ambitious national strategy to bring clear outcomes, strong evidence and systematic research to the humanitarian programs through collaborative partnerships with the public and private sectors.

He was Member of Youth Parliament Pakistan from 2007 to 2012.

DrBismillah Khan Kakar graduated from University of Balochistan in 2012 with a first class degree in Doctor of Pharmacy, Sociology and economics, and received a master’s degree in International Relations in 2011 from university of Balochistan and has done his post graduation/MPhil in Public health specialization from SZABIST Karachi,

His accomplishments have earned him a reputation, in the area as a word, as “one of the ablest, most creative public servants of our time,” and as an effective and passionate advocate for the Pakistan’s uprooted and poor people,
DrBismillah Khan’sparents fled to Quetta from Gulistan killa Abdullah during War situation and its aftermath. As the son of refugees, he brings a personal commitment to the BLESS’s work. He lives in Quetta City with his family members.
